What is Evolutionary Astrology?

Evolutionary Astrology is a type of modern astrology that focuses on the growth and evolution of the soul.

What did we bring with us into this present life, perhaps from past life experience or ancestral energies passed down through the generations?

Through the South Node and associated planets, we discover gifts and wisdom we bring in from the past. This part of our birth chart also shows us unresolved wounds and self-limiting patterns that tend to repeat and keep us stuck or tangled up in behaviors that lead to suffering. These pain points of the South Node are ripe and ready for healing and positive change this time around. The North Node is the intervention.

The North Node of the Moon is directly opposite the South Node and represents the remedy, the healing and resolving medicine needed in the here and now to gain freedom from the painful repetition of the past.

The freeing up of these “karmic knots” has a liberating effect upon the whole personality and allows for new currents of energy to flow in the direction of our soul’s expansion.

When we cultivate the energies of our North Node, we naturally come into ways of being that give us a greater sense of freedom, ease, vitality and joy.
