I am beginning this letter to you from 30,000 feet en route to commune with Swedish artist (1862-1944) Hilma af Klint's Paintings for the Temple on exhibition in Paris.

The first time I saw Hilma's artwork, and particularly this collection of paintings, it was in the documentary Beyond the Visible. 

I immediately burst into tears, completely touched with resonance.

It feels utterly magical to be making this pilgrimage to experience Hilma's artwork in person during this particular eclipse portal that opened with Leo New Moon energy – Leo being associated with unbridled creative expression straight from the heart, vivid colors and the pursuit of what fills us with joy…

Dear Cosmic Friends,

We are in the midst of a rare planetary alignment where all three of the outermost, slowest-moving planets have arrived at the same degree (July 7-31):

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are associated with transpersonal energy (big, collective, soul) and with being catalysts for deep and sweeping change.

So, here we are at the beginning of a new 7-year Uranian chapter with lightning bolt breakthroughs, pivots and earthquake-y upheavals, shake-ups and all manner of wild cards stimulating the Geminian realm.

Wherever Gemini is located in your birth chart (houses) and any planets or sensitive points (nodes or angles) that you may have in Gemini – it is here we have signed up for surf lessons over the course of these next 7 years! We are learning how to keep soft knees, lower our center of gravity and ride the waves.

Leo invites us to leave perfectionism at the door and enter into a state of free-spirited, spontaneous, creative self-expression. When we join together in community in this Leonine space, our hearts can recharge. JOY in community is Leo’s medicine…

On June 9th, Jupiter shifts into the water sign of CANCER where it is considered to be in its "exalted" placement.

This means that when Jupiter is in Cancer, it has access to all of its resources, embodying its utmost expansion and wisdom. As above, so below! That same potential is available to us.

Yesterday morning, I listened to the latest episode of the Brown Sisters' Podcast, How to Survive the End of the World.

The title of this episode is The Sister Feud. Autumn and adrienne actually really get into a tense moment in their conversation AND they organically model how to slow things down, pause to explore what's underneath and reconnect with each other with more tenderness and openness.

It's such a powerful reminder that relationships can deepen through rupture and repair.

Astrologically, throughout their whole conversation, I kept thinking about the PISCES / ARIES energies we are utterly immersed in these days.

The New Moon in Scorpio occurred this morning at 5:47am Pacific Time. We will be in the New Moon Phase until Monday, November 4, 2024.

The New Moon in and of itself is a time of literal darkness and Scorpio is a sign associated with the darkness of the subterranean depths (subconscious/unconscious).

I created a short Guided Meditation centered around connecting with the New Moon darkness as a place of rest and nourishment...a limitless source of creative, life-giving energy.

The Sun moved into Scorpio's intense, truth-seeking, deep feeling waters on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 and will remain in these depths until November 21, 2024. 

The Sun is lighting up the Scorpionic waters of our birth charts, asking us to examine "what's underneath that?" You may find you can see more clearly at this time. Are there any truths that need to be acknowledged and addressed?

Scorpio demands awareness of the full spectrum of our life experience, not just the "comfortable," "polite" or "light" aspects. Scorpio's aim is "wholeness rather than goodness," as Carl Jung once said.

It's a big deal when Jupiter and Saturn come together for a conjunction, as it only happens once every 20 years. They are both slower moving planets and their cycle together is one of long-term development, involving future visioning, pruning, restructuring and expansion.

Greetings Friends...I hope this Scorpio Full Moon phase is allowing for truths, deeply held emotions and new insights to be released from your depths and into the full light of consciousness. It is certainly a time for this kind of subconscious/unconscious emergence with Pluto, Guardian of the Underworld and ruler of Scorpio, tightly aligned with the Full Moon.

The content of these depths may be related to earthy, Taurean themes, such as, material stability and sense of security, embodiment of abundance and sustained thriving.

On the heels of the eclipse portal we just experienced (March 25-April 8), we are now approaching one of the most significant astrological aspects of 2024: the Jupiter Uranus conjunction at 21 degrees Taurus. This fusion sets in motion a new 14 year cycle related to these planetary energies.

Jupiter and Uranus will come into exact alignment to the degree and minute this Saturday, April 20 at 7:27pm PDT.

Because Uranus takes 84 years to make a full orbit and Jupiter takes 12 years, they move rather slowly. So, they have been in close proximity for the last month already, activating the fusion of their energies. And, they will remain close to each other through late May. So, you may already be feeling the energy of this transit, and it's good to know the concentrated stimulation continues for over another month.

The Aries/Libra eclipse cycle began in April 2023 and completes in March 2025.

We are right in the middle.

PISCES: SENSITIVITY TO COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS

If you have a Pisces Sun, Moon or Rising Sign...a bundle of planets in Pisces, a South Node in Pisces...or perhaps a crowded 12th House or strong Neptune placement in your birth chart, I often describe this (Piscean/Neptunian/12th House) experience as something like antennae coming out of every pore of your skin, soaking in the energy of your environment and far beyond...24/7.

Pisces is the most sensitive sign of the zodiac with no built-in protection, unlike the other water signs. Cancer has its protective crab/turtle shell it can recede into at a moment's notice, as well as some pretty effective pincers. Scorpio has a deadly stinger it can use at the end of its tail.

Pluto, moving like the mighty, transpersonal snail it is, will be in Aquarius until 2044, with a last dip back into Capricorn from Sept-Nov 2024.

All of this Aquarian energy and Pluto carrying it forward for many years to come invites us into a space of rigorous critical mindedness and focused collective movement toward positive, liberating change.

We are in the middle of SAGITTARIUS SEASON, when the Sun moves through this robust, faith-filled, fire sign.

Sagittarius' warm, encouraging energy has the potential to stimulate sparks of expanded possibility and newfound flickers of hope-fullness within us. This Jupiter-ruled sign also opens the door to a sense of (re)connection with something bigger and meaningful igniting inspiration and strength within the weariness of many of our souls.

We are in the midst of Scorpio Season (Oct 23–Nov 22) and the New Moon in Scorpio is around the corner on Nov 13 exact at 1:27am PST.

This is the time of year when we are ritually called into the depths. The light of the Sun is guiding our way into the Underworld, realm of buried or denied truths, histories, realities and emotions; realm of reckoning, release and renewal.

Entrance into this sacred (and sometimes terrifying) domain, requires surrender. There is no other way.

Eclipses are like super-charged, wild card New and Full Moons, with a 6-month unfolding/shaping period that follows. The time around and between eclipses can often be felt as a time of intensification and acceleration of time, awareness, change and life happenings. It's wise to build in extra time for rest and renewal during eclipse season.

Eclipses occur when the New Moon and Full Moon are near the Lunar Nodes.
